For mixing all the way to the bottom of deep pots or pitchers, its durable snap-in attachment can be immersed as far down as 8 inches. The blender's speed-control dial offers variable speeds ranging from nine (high) to one (low), while its power button allows for one-touch starting and stopping. Two ejector buttons, one on either side of the blender body, provide simple attachment removal. Other convenient features include quick and easy assembly and storage, a 5-foot extra-long power cord, and a comfortable, ergonomic, non-slip grip. A 3-cup blending beaker and sealing lid are included. For simple clean up, all attachments and accessories are dishwasher-safe and the smooth surface of the blender body is easy to wipe clean.

Customer Rating: Summary: Love it!!!! Comment: So glad I bought this, wish I had gotten one sooner!!!!! I make alot of homemade soup and I use this immersion blender to thicken up the soup. it is so much easier to just stick this in the pot, rather than my old way, which was to ladle soup in to the blender and puree it, then place it into a bowl, do another blender or 2 full of soup, then put it all back into the pot. Ugh. What a pain, and the blender was a pain to clean too. This immersion blender saves me so much time and work. To clean it I just stuck it into my soapy water in the sink and turned it on, clean in about 30 seconds. Love, love, love it.
Customer Rating: Summary: It's a hit! Comment: I bought this as a gift for my husband. He absolutely LOVES it and uses it every day. It is attractive, versatile and most importantly, high quality. I'm pleased that it is also very easy to clean. It is much nicer than I expected. Great value!!!
Customer Rating: Summary: Very good, very cool... Comment: So far this product rules. Very powerful and does the jobs that a blender can't touch. Nice...
Customer Rating: Summary: Breaks in about six months of daily use Comment: This is the third one we have bought. We use it to make smoothies about four times a day. It always breaks within six months--always something a little different. We are trying an Cuisinart next time.
Customer Rating: Summary: Kitchen Aid Quality Control lacking Comment: We purchased this blender thinking the quality would be higher than lower priced models. While it seems good to detach the blade for cleaning, who really cares? They are easy enough to clean, taking off the end is really just a nuisance. We immediately notices that the switch seemed poorly designed and somewhat difficult to use. It failed after a year of moderate use. Even under warranty, it costs more in shipping and handling than getting another one, so that's what we're doing. We had similar issues with a Kitchen Aid blender in the past. They seem solid, but have weaknesses in some small but critical part that kills them, seemingly by design. Then you have to decide if you want to go the trouble replacing the whole unit with another one that will fail early the same way. Why would you replace a poorly designed appliance with the same thing?
